Al-Halboosi meets the Regional Director of WB

Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received on Tuesday, the World Bank's Regional Director for Middle East, Saroj Kumar Jha.

During the meeting, both discussed opportunities to enhance joint cooperation in the field of investment and appropriate mechanisms to reduce administrative bureaucracy in ministries and strategic projects of state institutions to create jobs opportunities.

Al-Halboosi asserted the keenness of the Parliament to follow up the file of cooperation between the federal government and the World Bank to contribute to the development and implementation of economic projects that support the citizen directly.

For his part, Kumar Jha, stressed the World Bank cooperation with Iraq and the support for the advancement of economic reality to contribute to achieve development.
