President Salih Receives Head of Counter-Terrorism Service

INA – BAGHDAD

President Barham Salih commended the Counter-Terrorism Service’s heroism alongside the rest formations of our Armed Forces in combating Daesh terrorist groups.

Meeting with the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lt. Gen. Talib Shaghati Al-Kinani, today, in Baghdad, Salih stressed on the distinguished professional and moral character of the Counter-Terrorism Forces.

President Salih noted that these forces have contributed to completing full victory over terrorists and have expedited their collapse.

The President reiterated the need to build unified national and professional armed forces capable of addressing external risks and terrorist threats.
