Security Information Cell: The Terrorist Attack on Daquq Stadium Killed 6 Civilians Injured 9

INA, Baghdad-

The Security Information Cell announced on Monday that six civilians were killed and nine others injured in a terrorist attack that took place on a football stadium in Daquq district, Kerkuk provence.

A statement issued by the information cell, a copy of which received by the INA, announced that ‘the terrorist Daish gangs opened machine gun fire yesterday and launched RPG 7 rockets on a Pentathlon – football - stadium in the district of Daquq, not far from the Zain Alabideen Holy shrine in Kerkuk Province.’

‘the incident,’ the statement added ‘occurred within the sector overseen by the Al-Hashd alShabi’s 16th brigade killing 6 civilians and injuring 9 others.
