Iraqi military and Hashd Sha’bi forces (PMF) have commenced the second day of the ‘Will of Victory’ operation 4 west of Anbar province.
An statement issued by Hash Sha’bi, copy of which received by INA, said that army and Hashd forces, receiving air support from army helicopters and air force jet fighters have commenced on Sunday the second day of the ‘Will of Victory’ Operation 4 to chase out Daish cells west of Anbar province.
Joint forces from the Iraqi army and Hashd Sha’bi set off yesterday with the operation to clear areas south of Euphrates river and the Hawran vally in Anbar. The first day was concluded by searching and securing a number of villages and vast countryside areas killing 3 Daish members, including one suicide bomber, and arresting four others. In addition to this they destroyed hideouts and explosives that belonged to the criminal gangs.
