Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim on Monday received a phone call from his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry, and discussed ways to upgrade bilateral relations and mutual keenness to develop them in all fields, a ministry statement said.
The two sides also discussed issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on a number of issues, including crises in the Middle East, the importance of providing effective political solutions, and undertaking initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability in this sensitive region at the level of the world.
