The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency on Tuesday: The Kurdistan Regional Parliament chose Masrur Barzani to form a regional government.
The reporter said that "the provincial parliament held a session complementary to the meeting yesterday, which was the selection of the President of the region," noting that "the session was dedicated to the selection of a candidate for the presidency of the provincial government."
He added that "the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc as the largest bloc submitted to the presidency name pleased Barzani as a candidate for prime minister," pointing out that "the parliament voted 87 votes for Barzani to head the provincial government."
