PM: Visiting Saudi Arabia show Iraq desire to open up

PM Adel Abdul Mahdi met the king of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Wednesday in Riyadh.

The Prime Minister was received by an official ceremony where the national anthems of both countries were played and many princes, figures and businessmen have attended this meeting as well.

Abduk Mahdi expressed his happiness for the developed relations between the two countries and offered his thanks for such ceremony.

“This visit represents the Iraqi desire to open up to other countries and enhance the mutual relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Exchanging such visits paves the way for new horizons between our both countries,” said PM Abdul Mahdi.
