Baghdad Municipality announced on Monday, the planting of more than 4 millions seedlings with the launch of the 11th Baghdad International Flower Festival.
"The capital of Baghdad witnessed the planting of a number of parks, squares, parks with plants ranging from 3 million flowers, 500 shrubs and 450 000 long-standing trees," the statement said.
The statement added that "the festival of Baghdad Municipality flowers will be distinguished this year through the volume of participation and exhibitions of flowers and various events that will be seen at the site of the festival in the park Zora’."
