Municipality of Baghdad is planting millions of flowers on the occasion of Norouz

Baghdad Municipality announced on Thursday the planting of millions of seedlings of various varieties in the capital Baghdad on the occasion of the Norouz holidays.

The municipality said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that "the municipality departments have set up gardens and parks for families to celebrate the Spring Festival and have been planted with various types of flowers, ornamental trees and palm trees."

She added that "the staff of the municipal departments have joined festivities within the partitions with the participation of civil society organizations and the people of the regions and conduct campaigns to clean the streets and the maintenance of parks and parks
