Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi sent a government delegation to Wasit and Maysan provinces under the chairmanship of Hamid al-Ghazi to stand in the field on the measures taken to deal with the floods and reassure citizens about the government's standing with them and compensating them.
The representative of the Prime Minister met with the local government and representatives of the two provinces in the House of Representatives, tribal leaders, citizens, government departments, the popular crowd and the forces that hold there, the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency .
The head of the delegation confirmed that "the approval of the Prime Minister to allocate emergency amounts to the provinces of Wasit and Maysan and send committees within the administrative units under the supervision of the Governors to inventory the damage on crops and agricultural crops and expedited to send them to the Central Committee to be compensated as soon as possible.
