Salih to Iran: Iraq is not part of any regional harm

President Barham Salih confirmed that Iraq will not accept to part of any harm caused to the regional area.

This came during his meeting with Iran’s ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi on Thursday.

Salih asserted that the Iraqi-Iranian mutual relations are very important and it represents strong social and cultural ties as well as security and economic interest.

He also praised Iran’s support to Iraq in terms of fighting Daesh terrorist groups.

“Iraq is keen to be a place for meeting the interest of the regional countries,” said Salih.

Masjedi also affirmed his country’s readiness to stand by Iraq in different situations and Iran is keen to enhance mutual relations.
