"We have come to follow up the good implementation of what we agreed on in Baghdad and to add more agreements to achieve further cooperation and convergence in the political, economic and social fields.

We implement our agreement on the Shatt al-Arab, as well as the extension of the railway between Basra and Shalamjah.  And other forms of cooperation in addition to the construction of industrial cities,

calling for the establishment of ceilings for the implementation of all our agreement and agree in all areas, in addition to the need to hold meetings between Iraqi security officials and their Iranian counterparts on border issues, Rat . Referring to the joint cooperation to counter the threat of floods suffered by the Iraqi and Iranian peoples and solidarity of Iraq and its people with the families of the victims.

During the meeting, they discussed the development of bilateral relations and cooperation, increasing trade exchange, energy and health fields, the extension of the Basra-Shalamja railway, border issues and customs.

The Iranian president thanked the Iraqi people and his government for the hospitality he received during his visit to Iraq.
