DMI detains seven terrorists in three governorates

The Directorate of Military Intelligence DMI announced today, Wednesday, the arrest of seven terrorists in three governorates.

In a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Directorate stated that "separate operations based on accurate intelligence and through well-planned ambushes and raids on terrorist locations, resulted in the arrest of (7) terrorists wanted by the Iraqi judiciary under the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law in various areas of the governorates of Anbar, Kirkuk, and Nineveh."

The Directorate added that "the terrorists were operating and belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs, and had also participated in several terrorist attacks against Iraqi security forces in the past," noting that "they were handed over to the requesting parties in accordance with the law."
