DMI arrests two terrorists in Nineveh

The Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) announced on Monday the arrest of two terrorists and the seizure IEDS stack in Nineveh province.

DMI stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Based on accurate intelligence information a force from DMI 16th division and in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the 91st brigade, was able to arrest two wanted members of Daesh terrorist gangs in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 / Anti-terrorism Law) on the right side of Mosul, and they were handed over to the concerned authorities.”


 The statement added " DMI detachments represented by the 92nd Brigade, 16th division, and after receiving accurate intelligence, managed to seize a stack containing (35) IEDs in Bateisha village, Hamidat district", stressing that "the engineering cadres lifted the IEDs and destroy them on the spot”.
