Crude oil prices recorded a significant increase during trading on Tuesday.
This was supported by a combination of geopolitical and economic factors, most notably the recent US sanctions against Chinese companies, in addition to the OPEC+ group's commitment to additional production cuts.
According to data from the Investing website, the price of Brent crude oil reached approximately $72.81 per barrel, an increase of $0.44 (0.61%) from the previous close.
West Texas Intermediate - WTI crude oil also leveled up to $69.67 per barrel, an increase of $0.56 (0.81%).
