PMF carries out a security operation in Nineveh

A joint force from the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) carried out a security operation today, Thursday, within the area of responsibility in Nineveh Governorate.

The PMF media stated in a statement—received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA)—that "a joint force from the 1st Regiment of the 30th Brigade of the PMF, the Maghawir Division, and the regiment's security, intelligence, movements, communications, and military medicine divisions carried out the security operation."

The PMF media added that "the operation included searching the areas of Hawi Shanf, Hawi Abzakh, Hawi al-Qasr, Shamsiyat, fields, and abandoned buildings, as part of enhancing the security and stability enjoyed by the region."
