The United Nations representative in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan, confirmed today, Saturday, that Iraq is determined to continue supporting security and stability.
Al-Hassan said in his speech during the Baghdad Dialogue Conference held by the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Iraq is determined to continue supporting stability, security and national unity," noting that "Iraq needs a constructive dialogue based on respect for opinion, consolidating the love of Iraqis for their country, focusing on the future, and building a strong, secure and stable Iraq."
He added that "Iraq, with its long history, needs a constructive dialogue that comes together under one point, which is the interest of Iraq," indicating that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has a clear vision in developing services and enhancing security and stability.
He stressed that "the United Nations supports Iraq and will continue to support it."
