National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, confirmed on Friday that the rights of all components in Iraq are protected.
Al-Araji a delegation of the Christian community in the US state of Michigan, headed by Martin Mina, the founder of the community in Michigan, USA, USA, according to a statement by the media office of the National Security Adviser - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He welcomed the delegation, and issues related to the procedures of the Iraqi government were discussed "to ensure the rights of all Iraqi components, especially Christians, whether at home or abroad."
"The rights of all components in Iraq are protected. The Iraqi government has set its eyes on enhancing brotherly coexistence between all Iraqis and operates unrelentingly to establish the pillars of community peace," said Al-Araji assuring the delegation.
He pointed out, "All Iraqis, and in their different colors, are the sons of this country and represent a beautiful painting that interprets the unity of Iraq with all its components."
