The media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji, met this evening with Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, and the meeting discussed the latest political developments at the regional and international levels, in addition to discussing a number of files and issues related to developing Iraq's relations with the friendly countries."
The statement added that "during the meeting, Iraq's firm position on issues and files on the Arab and international arenas was emphasized, and the importance of strengthening and supporting Iraqi diplomacy in a manner that serves Iraq's supreme interests was emphasized."
