The fourth Global Road Safety Conference kicked off in Marrakech, Morocco, on Tuesday.
According to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Iraq is participating in the event, held under the theme “Commit to Life.”
The conference aims to assess progress in implementing the Global Plan for Road Safety 2021-2030 and strengthen international commitments to reducing road traffic fatalities and injuries by 50% by 2030.
The event has drawn more than 100 ministers and officials from various countries, along with approximately 2,700 participants, including 600 high-level experts and representatives from UN agencies.
