JOC: 5 terrorists killed inside a guest house north of Rawah, west of Anbar

The Joint Operations Command announced today, Wednesday, the killing of 5 terrorists inside a guest house, north of Rawah within the Jazeera Operations Command sector.

The Security Media Cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "while our heroic security forces recorded successive victories throughout the past week against the elements of the terrorist ISIS gangs and their leadership and taught them harsh lessons within the Salah al-Din operations sectors of Balkana, Kirkuk and Wadi Zgheitoun, they did not neglect the rest of the sectors of responsibility as the enemy thought."

It added, "The eyes of the brave men in the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, in coordination and cooperation with the Military Intelligence Directorate and the National Security Service, and the continuous effort, monitoring and planning of the targeting cell in the Joint Operations Command, were on the lookout for a detachment consisting of 5 terrorists inside a guest house in the form of a cave north of Rawah within the Jazeera Operations Command sector."

The Command added, "Following this precise monitoring, F-16 aircraft carried out a successful air strike that completely destroyed the targeted location, killing those inside, in addition to destroying various weapons, ammunition and equipment."
