PMF: 3 ISIS terrorists killed in Anbar Desert

The Popular Mobilization Authority announced today, Wednesday, the killing of 3 ISIS terrorists in the Anbar Desert.

The Authority said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a force from the 57th Brigade within the Popular Mobilization Operations Command in Anbar was able to kill 3 terrorists from the remnants of the terrorist ISIS in the Anbar Desert.".

The statement added, "This came during a qualitative security operation in the south of Rutba, deep in the Anbar Desert, after intelligence information, where the force was able to clash with this terrorist group and kill them.".

The Authority explained that "the terrorist group was carrying out continuous kidnapping operations targeting shepherds and farmers, with the aim of destabilizing security and stability in desert and remote areas."
