The Iraqi Stars League media announced on Tuesday the start of a workshop, within the Dream Project, for Iraqi Stars League clubs on Wednesday.
"At nine o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, a workshop for Iraqi Stars League clubs will be held under the title "La Liga's work methodology in age groups", in which age group coaches for Iraqi Stars League clubs under 16 and 17 will participate, in addition to the technical directors of the clubs included in the workshop," said the league media in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "The workshop was divided into two parts, as the first batch includes Al-Jawiya, Al-Shorta, Al-Talaba, Al-Zawraa, Al-Naft, Al-Hudood, Al-Kahraba, Al-Karma and Diyala clubs, while the second batch, which will start this month 27th, includes Zakho, Dohuk, Maysan Oil, Al-Qasim, Al-Mina, Erbil, Nawruz, Karbala and Basra Oil clubs."
In turn, the Executive Director of the LaLiga Project in Iraq, Carlos Rodriguez Diaz, confirmed that "the workshop that will be held tomorrow will lay the foundation stone for the Dream Academy in Iraq, as work will be done with a unified methodology that facilitates the process of reaching the desired goal."
Diaz called on the clubs to "participate effectively in the workshop, especially since it will add a huge amount of information to work in the age groups, and how to develop them in a way that serves the future of Iraqi football."
The Director of Development of the LaLiga Project in Iraq, Borja Rubiato Martinez, confirmed that "the workshop will include theoretical and practical lectures," indicating that "the third day will be dedicated to the goalkeeper coaches of the aforementioned clubs and fitness coaches via Zoom."
Earlier, the Iraqi Football Association had contracted with three Spanish coaches to supervise the Dream Project, namely Jose Maria Zarco as technical director, Alexander Gomez as fitness coach, and Miguel Nunez as goalkeeper coach.
