Today, the Integrity commission revealed its total activities during 2018 which include referral 11 ministers to judiciary and retake more than 36 trillion dinars, and fulfill 441 detect operations.
Chairman of the Commission the judge Izzat Tawfiq Jaafar said in a statement, which INA received a copy of, that “the commission referraled 11 ministers and their consorts to judiciary during 2018 and they were sentenced with 22 decisions, mentioned that there are 156 referrals for the special degrees and general managers and their consorts, as well they were sentenced with 224 decisions”.
He added that “ the sums which detected in those operations were (1.610.966.817)Iraqi dinars, and (133.400)US dollars”.
As well he confirmed that “the total sums which had been retaken and avoid wasting and return it to the general treasury account were (1.669.085.047.718) Iraqi dinars”.
The Chairman of the Commission clarified that “the dilatory projects which the commission determined were (2736) and their costs were (16.455.290.348.823) Iraqi dinars and (16.227.930.298) US dollars”.
And he showed that “the dilatory projects which criminal cases were opened in it were (644) project, their costs were (5.486.303.401.793) Iraqi dinars and (6.546.142.288) US dollars”.
