The Iraqi knight Zaid Al-Nujaifi achieved distinguished achievements in the Drift International Show Jumping Championship held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which is one of the most prominent qualifying championships for the World Cup.
A statement by the Iraqi National Olympic Committee received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Iraqi knight succeeded in presenting a remarkable performance throughout the days of the championship, as he took fifth place in the small round and third place in a qualifying round for the grand prize, to continue his brilliance by obtaining third place in the small round within the Ministry of Education Cup."
The statement added that "Al-Nujaifi concluded his distinguished participation yesterday, Saturday, by achieving second place in the small final round and first place in the medium final round, confirming his position as one of the most prominent international Iraqi knights."
He pointed out that "the championship witnessed a remarkable brilliance by the knight Musab Al-Nujaifi, who succeeded in achieving fourth place in the medium tour round, adding this achievement to the series of successes achieved by Iraqi knights in international forums, and these results reflect the development of Iraqi equestrian sports and its increasing presence on the scene."
