Prime Minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani inaugurated on Thursday the City of Refineries Housing Complex in Baiji district.
Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi news agency INA that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani inaugurated today, Thursday, the City of Refineries Housing Complex in Baiji District, Salah al-Din Province. The complex includes 1,178 residential units that have been rebuilt after being destroyed by ISIS terrorist groups.
The statement read “During the inauguration, the Prime Minister stated that this residential city has been fully restored with complete services and infrastructure, resolving the displacement issue for oil refinery employees who have now returned to their homes. This marks a testament to the region’s stability, security, and the definitive end of terrorist threats.”
The statement added “The reconstruction was carried out under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister and included rehabilitating all civil facilities, such as schools and kindergartens, to meet the needs of the complex’s residents.”
