Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, announced today, Wednesday, measures to return the Syrian soldiers present in Iraq.
Al-Muhammadawi said in a video statement - followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Iraqi borders are completely fortified and safe," indicating that "the crossings with the Syrian side are completely secure."
He added, "We will not allow a terrorist to enter our lands," noting that "the procedures are moving towards returning the Syrian soldiers present in Iraq to their country."
