Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed advisors today, Wednesday, not make press statements outside the government framework
The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed advisors not to make press statements, in a manner that violates the general contexts of state administration, by expressing personal opinions that do not represent the government, and not to appear or make statements to the media except with official approval."
He added, "All advisors have been given the choice between continuing official work, or waiver their positions and advisory positions, and thus they will be free to make statements that express their personal opinions."
