JOC reinforces how crucial it is to create a secure environment for Ramadan

    The significance of creating a secure environment for the auspicious month of Ramadan was emphasized by Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations.  
     
    The Joint Operations Command stated that "the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, chaired a meeting with the commanders of operations and divisions as well as a number of military ranks commands" in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    JOC continued, "At the outset of this meeting, he emphasized that were the plans for the deployment of forces and the division of labor within the responsibility sections be reviewed. He also talked about the significance of stepping up security measures and maintaining pressure on the defeated terrorists, particularly as Ramadan draws near and the requirement to provide the best conditions in this holly month."

    In the statement, Al-Muhammadawi emphasized "the need for cooperation, coordination, teamwork, examination of combat, administrative and technical systems, serious dealing with security and intelligence information, and most importantly the optimal investment of human and technical resources and monitoring infiltration areas." He also mentioned "the need to secure the maintenance of the separating borders, including international borders, and reconsider the openness of the units."

    The deputy had the opportunity to hear the leaders' observations regarding the process of allocating responsibilities and working in an environment of integration, cooperation, careful follow-up. The commanders of operations and teams gave a thorough explanation of the security plans and the challenges facing their operations sectors.
