Iraqi Paralympic Table Tennis Team achieved a remarkable achievement by winning four medals at the conclusion of the World Motor Abilities Championship.
“The team was able to win a gold medal and three silver medals at the conclusion of the World Motor Abilities Championship held in Thailand," said the head of the Paralympic Table Tennis Federation delegation, Naseem Al-Shammari, in a statement by the Paralympic Committee - received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
He added that "the duo Mustafa Ghanim and Iman Hamza won the gold medal in the mixed doubles event, which is a remarkable achievement in the competitions of the global forum."
In turn, the delegation administrator, Dhikaa Sabbar, explained that “player Mustafa Ghanim won the silver medal in the individual event after a strong performance throughout the tournament, while player Iman Hamza won the silver medal in the individual event after showing exceptional skills in the matches, and player Taiba Muhammed won the silver medal in the individual event in her category.”
