Al-Mashhadani necessitates continuing projects in the governorates

Speaker of the parliament Mahmoud al-Mashhadani stressed on Tuesday the need to continue implementing projects in the governorates.

The media office of the Speaker of the parliament said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Speaker of the parliament, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, received the governor of Wasit, Muhammad Al-Mayahi, and a number of deputies from the province."

The statement pointed out that "there are provinces that have achieved multiple successes in the field of implementing service projects, including Wasit province," pointing to "the need for the provinces to continue implementing projects that serve Iraqis and meet their needs."

"The delegation gave a quick explanation of the most important obstacles facing the development of work in the province and the completion of important projects," the statement said.

The Speaker Al-Mashhadani renewed "the support of the parliament to local governments and governors in the field of legislation."
