PM, Iranian President stress the importance of continuing and coordinating efforts between all countries of the region

    Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed, on Sunday, the importance of continuing and coordinating efforts between all countries of the region in order to stop the war in Gaza, and to work to prevent the deterioration of the situation in Syria in a way that threatens the security and stability of the region.
     
    The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received a phone call from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian."
     
    According to the statement "the developments in the region were discussed during the call, especially the latest developments in Syria, in addition to what is happening in the Palestinian arena, from the ongoing war and crimes committed by the Zionist occupation forces against civilians and vital facilities in Gaza Strip."
    The two sides stressed according to the statement "the importance of continuing and coordinating efforts between all countries of the region, in order to stop the war in Gaza, and to work to prevent the deterioration of the situation in Syria in a way that threatens the security and stability of the region."
