Interior Minister, Abdul Amir Al-Shimmari, received on Tuesday British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper and her accompanying delegation.
"Al-Shimmari received at the ministry's headquarters, British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper and her accompanying delegation," said the Ministry of Interior in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The statement added that "official reception ceremonies were organized in which the leaders of the Ministry of Interior participated," noting that "it is hoped that this visit will witness a series of meetings that will enhance cooperation and joint coordination between the Iraqi Ministry of Interior and its British counterpart."
