Al-Abadi calls for rallying around justice, adhering to rights and supporting the oppressed

The head of the Victory Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, called today, Wednesday, to rally around justice, adhering to rights, and supporting the oppressed.
Al-Abadi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "I welcome the ceasefire in Lebanon, hoping that it will stop in Gaza and that the international community will succeed in achieving just and comprehensive settlements that do justice to the oppressed and vulnerable peoples, and I salute the steadfastness of the peoples in the cause of their dignity and rights," stressing "unity of ranks and preventing the opportunity for calamities and seditions from undermining their unity, solidarity and hope for the future."
He pointed out that "the people's forces must rally around justice, adhere to rights, support the oppressed, and make the project of a just state that represents its people a success, and adhere to it as a reference for representing peoples and achieving their interests in peace or war."
