Iraqi F-16 aircraft carry out an airstrike in Zgheiton Valley in Kirkuk

The Joint Operations Command confirmed today, Friday, that Iraqi F-16 aircraft carried out an airstrike in Zgheiton Valley within Kirkuk Operations Sector.

A statement by the command received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated: that "With the determination of the heroic security forces, successful efforts and the will of the men, the brave ones in the Military Intelligence Directorate, in coordination and cooperation with the targeting cell in the Joint Operations Command, were able to monitor two elements of the terrorist ISIS gangs in Zgheiton Valley within Kirkuk Operations Sector."

"Based on this information, the Air Falcons carried out airstrikes using F_16 aircraft, targeting these two terrorists."

According to the statement "our heroic security forces that pursue terrorists everywhere are determined to eradicate terrorism from every inch of our dear homeland."
