The Arab League condemned, on Sunday, the Zionist entity's attempts to expand its aggressive practices, affirming its support for Iraq.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Iraq, through its permanent delegation in Cairo, and with the support of all Arab countries in the Arab League, in addition to the support of the Secretary-General of the League, succeeded in issuing a resolution on Sunday, 11/24/2024, condemning and denouncing the Zionist entity's attempts to expand its aggressive practices in the region, including Iraq. The resolution also condemned the entity's addressing of the Security Council, considering it a step to expand its aggression in the Middle East region."
"The resolution included other details, including requesting the Secretary-General of the Arab League to send a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council, reflecting the League's position in support of the Republic of Iraq, and the categorical rejection of the allegations contained in the letter of the Foreign Minister of the Zionist entity. The resolution also stressed the need to take urgent measures to stop the ongoing escalation in the Middle East region, in order to preserve international peace and security."
