India Denounces Baku Climate Finance Deal, Says Concerns Ignored

India on Sunday denounced an agreement by rich countries to provide $300 billion a year in climate finance to developing countries, saying COP29 host Azerbaijan did not take its concerns into account.
“The amount proposed to be mobilized is very small,” said the Indian delegate at COP29 in Baku. It is a pittance,” said the Indian delegate at COP29 in Baku.
