The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, confirmed today, Thursday, the Union's commitment to implementing the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Galant.
"The ICC's arrest warrant for Netanyahu and Galant is not political and the court's decision must be respected and implemented," Borrell said in a statement.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Galant on Thursday on charges of "committing war crimes."
The court issued, according to a statement, "unanimously two decisions rejecting the appeals submitted by the Zionist entity under Articles 18 and 19 of the Rome Statute (Statute)."
