A senior security source reported that Iraq received on Saturday more than a thousand soldiers from the Syrian army through the Qaim border crossing in Anbar Governorate.
The source told the Iraqi News Agency - INA that "more than a thousand soldiers from the Syrian army requested to enter Iraq through the Qaim border crossing."
"The soldiers were received and provided with the necessary care and their needs were met," added the source.
