Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani discussed with the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, today, Wednesday, developments in Syria.
The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received a phone call from the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud."
According to the statement "the call discussed developments in the Syrian arena and their repercussions on the region, where both sides stressed the need for joint Arab coordination and work to enhance dialogue between all Syrian parties and ensure the security, sovereignty and unity of Syria's territories."
"The call witnessed discussion of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop and advance them in various fields, in a way that achieves the common interests of the two brotherly peoples."
"Prime Minister offered his congratulations to Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the occasion of the Kingdom winning the bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup, wishing continued prosperity and progress for the Kingdom and its brotherly people."
