The Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, discussed on Wednesday with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan, judicial procedures for achieving security and social stability in the country.
According to a statement by the Supreme Judicial Council, obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, received today, Wednesday, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan, accompanied by the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Claudio Cordone."
The statement further said that "the meeting discussed judicial procedures for achieving security and social stability in the country."
