Current US President Joe Biden cast on Monday his vote in the early voting in the US presidential elections, stressing the need for a ceasefire in Gaza.
After the voting, Biden made brief statements - outside the voting hall in Delaware - stressing the need to stop the war in the Middle East, according to international media sources.
"We need a ceasefire in Gaza," said Biden, "I will immediately follow up on the ceasefire efforts with my team."
He noted that "his team is now looking into a ceasefire in Gaza and the war must end."
Many Americans cast their votes before Election Day on November 5th.
Biden withdrew from the presidential election race this year and is now running against Republican Party candidate and former President Donald Trump against Democratic Party candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris.
