Parliament adjourns its session

    The House of Representatives adjourned its session today, Sunday.
     
    The House of Representatives held its session today, Monday, headed by the Acting Speaker of the House, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi.
     
    The media department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, opened the work of session No. (14), with the attendance of 172 representatives." 
     
    The House of Representatives announced the postponement of voting on the draft Personal Status Law No. (188) of 1959, and the draft law on the second amendment to the General Amnesty Law No. (27) of 2016.
     
    The media department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the House of Representatives postponed voting on the draft law on service and retirement for the Mujahideen of the Popular Mobilization Authority," noting that "the parliament also postponed voting on the draft law on returning real estate to its owners covered by some decisions of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council."
     
    The media department added that "the House of Representatives postponed voting on the draft law on Personal Status Law No. (188) of 1959, and voting on the draft law on the second amendment to the General Amnesty Law No. (27) of 2016 was also postponed."
