PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani confirmed on Saturday that the government has placed education at the top of its priorities.
"Al-Sudani received a group of outstanding students in middle school who have success stories, as well as outstanding students from poor families," said the PM's media office in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He congratulated the students and their families on this excellence," stressing that Iraq "is a country of creative and outstanding people who were able to overcome difficulties and left many success stories, as he expects its outstanding sons to contribute to the construction and achievement development, because they represent the country's important asset. There is an effort to achieve a renaissance in our country by improving and developing the education sector."
"The government has placed education at the top of its priorities. This is embodied in a comprehensive plan to build schools to reduce overcrowding. The opening of Al-Farah schools for orphans, which will be available to the families of martyrs in particular and orphans, will be generalized in all governorates, in addition to disbursing cash grants to students from needy families and working to secure all needs to ensure the success of the educational and pedagogical process,” he indicated.
