The head of the Commission of Integrity, Commissioner Mohamed Ali Al-Lami assumed on Thursday, his duties.

According to a statement of the Commission received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "the head of the Commission of Integrity Muhammad Ali al-Lami began his duties as head of the Federal Commission of Integrity."

It is significant that the Prime Minister chose to appoint Mohammed Ali Al-Lami as the head of the Integrity Commission, replacing Haider Hanoun. The Cabinet also voted yesterday to appoint him as a special adviser in the Ministry of Justice, and the Cabinet then recommended that the Parliament vote on the matter.
