Leading a security delegation comprising several commanders and officers, Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari arrived in the Nineveh Governorate on Thursday.
"Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Nineveh Governorate at the head of a security delegation that included a number of commanders and officers," according to a Ministry of Interior statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). The statement also noted that "the minister met with Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, and discussed with him a number of issues of common interest."
"Al-Shammari will attend a number of meetings in Nineveh province and receive updates on the security operations and services that the Ministry of Interior offers to the residents of Nineveh," the statement added.
