President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received today, Tuesday, a message from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to participate in the World Urban Forum, which will be held in Cairo from November 4 to 8.
The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received - at the Baghdad Palace - the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Iraq, Ahmed Samir, where he delivered a letter from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi including an official invitation to participate in the World Urban Forum, which will be held in Cairo from November 4 to 8."
He added, "The ambassador conveyed the greetings of President El-Sisi to the President of the Republic and his wishes for his good health and success and the Iraqi people more prosperity and well-being."
The President of the Republic expressed his thanks and gratitude for the invitation, conveying his sincere greetings to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi from the Egyptian Ambassador.
He stressed, "the depth of historical relations with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the importance of expanding the horizons of bilateral cooperation in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples for progress and development."
