MMD delegation arrives in Beirut to review the conditions of Iraqis

    A delegation from the Ministry of Migration and Displacement - MMD arrived in Beirut on Friday, to review the conditions of Iraqis.


    MMD delegation arrived in Beirut to review the conditions of Iraqis, during which it will meet with the Iraqi Chargé d'Affaires in Lebanon to discuss the procedures for the return of Iraqi families to the country, according to a statement from the ministry - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.


    The delegation, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Karim Al-Nouri, met with the staff of the Iraqi Embassy in Beirut, represented by Chargé d'Affaires Nada Karim Mjwal, in the presence of the Director General of the Department of Immigration Affairs, Safaa Hussein, to review the efforts to accommodate Iraqis in Lebanon and the procedures for the return of those wishing to return to the homeland, in addition to discussing the conditions of Iraqis in the Republic of Lebanon and working to overcome the obstacles facing them.


    The statement explained that "on the sidelines of the meeting, the delegation visited several Iraqis and reviewed their conditions and needs. They provided all facilities for families wishing to return to Iraq."
