MMD opens a special office for Palestinian refugee affairs in Baghdad

    The Ministry of Migration and Displacement - MMD announced on Monday, the opening of a special office for Palestinian refugee affairs in Baghdad.


    “Under the patronage of the Minister of MMD Evan Faiq Jabro, and under the slogan (Gaza is heroism and steadfastness), MMD opened today its office for Palestinian refugees inside the Haifa Sports Club/ The Municipalities Complex in Baghdad, to determine the needs of Palestinian nationals inside Iraq," said MMD Undersecretary, Karim Al-Nouri, in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA. 


    He added, "The purpose of opening the office is to increase the institution's ability to manage the file of Palestinian refugees, as well as simplify procedures and update their data, in addition to providing legal and humanitarian services to find solutions to the problems and obstacles they face within the ministerial curriculum to simplify procedures that serve the categories of the Ministry's care."
