Lebanese Economy Minister Counts Iraq's Aid to Lebanon

    Lebanese Economy Minister Amin Salam confirmed today, Wednesday, that Iraq's aid is sufficient for seven months, noting that Iraq has provided 200,000 tons of wheat to secure Lebanon's needs.
     
    Salam told Al-Iraqiya News - followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "The war has caused the displacement of more than 1.2 million citizens," indicating that "there are huge losses in a number of sectors as a result of the Zionist aggression."
    He added that "Iraq helped Lebanon to withstand," stressing the "necessity of working to stop the Zionist aggression."
    Salam stated that "Iraq has provided 200,000 tons of wheat to secure Lebanon's needs," noting that "Iraq always stands to help Lebanon." 
    He explained that "Iraq's aid is sufficient for seven months," noting that "Iraq continues to provide relief to Lebanon."
